I recently used THP for a work settlement agreement and the process with Laura was seamless, super clear from the beginning and turned around promptly. I had called another Henley firm who neither replied to my email or answered their phone whereas THP’s answer was immediate. This is one of the easiest reviews I have written. We were recommended Mary O’Leary from THP for house conveyancing by my son. I carried past and current negative experiences of solicitors into the sale. But these were quickly forgotten as Mary picked up our case, acting professionally and efficiently. My wife and I were staggered by the speed of response by Mary and her team to questions or issues raised. Personable and extremely helpful guidance from Mary during a sales hiccup reduced our stress and helped make the completion relatively easy. There will be another family house purchase in the near future and we will be back to Mary and her team for legal support with this matter.

Laura managed to unstick a seemingly intractable situation regarding my late father's estate, dealing with the matter sensitively yet firmly whilst not escalating the situation unnecessarily. After a very short and unexpected illness my brother passed away leaving me sole Executor of his Will. Clearly this was a very difficult and emotional time. Emma was absolutely superb in helping me navigate through the whole process from dealing with funeral directors, obtaining Grant of Probate, payment of inheritance tax, dealing with house sale and generally bringing to a closure my brothers Estate. Along the way there were couple of "challenges" but Emma was brilliant in dealing with these and reaching resolution. At all times she kept in contact, keeping me up-to-date with developments as these occurred with communication always clear and understandable (no legal jargon). Showed great patience in responding to my queries and questions. Overall the service provided was extremely professional and efficient and it was of great comfort in knowing all affairs were being dealt with by such a competent person who was also very sympathetic to the situation. It was actually a pleasure to work alongside Emma albeit under such circumstances.

It is a general frustration with Solicitors that when they go on holiday the file at best gets’ baby sat’ by colleagues. THP have a different attitude, Rachel Gaylor one of the senior partners actively promotes that she ensures files are fully managed by colleagues when the fee earner is on holiday, this she says ‘is not just for the benefit of the client but also to ensure her colleagues can go and come back from a break without added pressure’. I have seen this happen in action. Having been in the property profession for over 40 years I can say that this is a very refreshing attitude, typical THP but sadly not typical of most legal firms.

Very professional, efficient service whilst also being very pleasant to deal with. I can very solidly recommend THP. I think I have started using the term ‘my solicitors’ when talking about them. I don’t normally leave reviews, but after a recent (difficult) house sale, both the solicitors and estate agent deserved one. Until about 10 years ago I had only used a solicitor once or twice for conveyancing and I guess you take whoever comes your way. Since then, I have had redundancy, an employment contract dispute, a consent order, probate and more conveyancing. I have come out all of these situations feeling that I have had a fair outcome and they have done their best for me. They have all been superbly efficient, human, personable, tolerant, professional, knowledgeable, timely, communicative and most importantly reassuring.

Having to deal with any legal matter is stressful, and I can't recommend THP enough for how they handled my case, from making the initial call to first my contact.
