By matching active seniors with those needing help, they foster companionship, compassion and respect. Lynn has been coming to help me for some time to assist me with various administrative and computer based work which I am unable to do. She is always punctual and reliable and I have every trust in Lynn. I feel comfortable in her company, the time we spend together is relaxed & fun!

Finding Seniors Helping Seniors has been transformative for our family, and we are so grateful for their help. The organisation offers real flexibility that no other service seems to do - caring companionship when you need it, without commitment to a regular, predictable package. They are reliable and trustworthy, whatever service we ask for. But the real stars are the managers, Steve and Lynn. We have known them for two and a half years, and they bring caring and compassion to everything they do, going above and beyond as our needs increase. SHS now provide 24 hour care for us for a week or so each month, allowing us to take care of an elderly parent in Scotland. The regular companions are well-matched to our family member’s interests, and provide much better entertainment than we do! They also take care of meals and other needs. This means that when we are away we can relax, without the nagging concern that used to follow us up the M6! Above all Steve and Lynn provide a sense of shared responsibility - it feels as if we have friends who truly share the burden of care. They take care of whatever is needed without necessarily involving us, and are always ready to provide a listening ear when we run out of ideas. We - the family carers - feel supported and cared for, a rare gift in the challenges so many of us face these days. A big thank you to you all at SHS.

Sadly no longer able to drive I have been delighted with the excellent service provided by Senior helping Senior (Thames Valley). Always prompt, their assistance for shopping, dental and hair and even hospital appointments is superb. Never intrusive, they foresee any problems with balance or fatigue and one always feels confident in their care.
