Fast, efficient, friendly service. Jake goes the extra mile to get a good job done. Initially booked Jake to clean out the gutters on my house but mentioned my concerns about some broken roof tiles. Mark and Jake are great … hard working with a keen eye to the detail. They painted the exterior of our house having filled and repaired all the rendering to a very high standard first. Other jobs included cleaning and repairing the guttering and downpipes, painting the facias and soffits, removing and replacing defective pointing on the damp course as well as around the windows and doors and resealing the windows and doors with silicon. We even added an additional request to paint the lead flashing on the garage roof, as the rest of the work had made that look untidy! The weather had been against us but Mark returned over the weekend to finish off the outstanding jobs. Would highly recommend.

I have used Jake's services to look after my gutters and roofline for some years now, both maintenance and replacement. He is polite, reliable and conscientious. In October he carried out his regular cleaning of the gutters and we agreed that there was a lot of moss that needed to be removed from the roof. This last week the weather was finally ok for the work to be carried out so Jake contacted me to agree a schedule. The work was carried out promptly and professionally using a hand scraper and a stiff brush to avoid the sort of damage to the roof tiles that can occur with power washing. Jake's dad worked with him. Both of them were very careful and everywhere was cleaned up afterwards, including any moss that had fallen into my neighbour's garden. Jake also checked the roof for any damage, told me about one cracked tile which he remedied at no extra cost, so I am now confident my roof is watertight. I have no hesitation in recommending the services of Jake and of his dad Mark.

Our house had some damp problems, which Mark came and looked at for us. Great approach to looking at the situation and not rushing in with a quick fix. Mark is great at explaining what he is doing and what he thinks the next steps are. For some areas it was taking a wait and see approach, which turned out well, and others needed fixing, which Mark arranged. The work Mark and Jake undertook is really good quality. That’s kept us informed about what they were doing and of any snags they came across on the way. Rather than simply telling us what they would do they gave us some options with a recommendations. The work to fix damp around a window, problems with a broken underground pipe, and some not so effective guttering was undertaken quickly and without any inconvenience or mess. They cut the old guttering up so we could get rid of it easily. We would thoroughly recommend Mark and Jake, and will use them again if we need too.

An excellent experience all round. Jake returned my initial call and arranged to visit to quote for some guttering repairs. Last Sunday we noticed our aerial had become partly detached from the gable end of our house and was in danger of breaking loose and smashing the windows. We are housebound at the moment and could not have done the job ourselves. It was such a relief to have such prompt, polite and helpful service. He removed the existing downpipes, gutters, fascia, soffit boards (including the gables) and replaced them with very smart white UPVC. He organised all the necessary scaffolding as part of the job. We were really pleased with the work Jake and his Dad Mark completed on our property recently. They worked together to repoint, repair pebble dash on the front of the house, and then replace soffits, fascias and guttering throughout, coming up with some great ideas to improve the look of the property with the use of hollow soffit boards.
