Daniel carries out all the projects himself (with help if required), but is always on site as point of contact for the customer. Patios, tree works and shrub planting, there is no project they haven't encountered in over 30 years of gardening/landscaping. Based in Yateley, they cover all local areas. HND in Habitat Management from Merrist Wood College, they also write about horticulture and growing veg in local and national publications. Mon–Fri 7.30–5.30.

Met Dan several years ago when he repaired some broken fence posts, he even repaired my lawn mower free of charge when I thought it was destined for the tip.
This year we decided to tidy up our garden and make it toddler friendly, so did not hesitate in going straight to Dan to offer him the work. He understood our vague ideas but with adding his own knowledge and expertise brought us a beautiful new garden area.
Dan is really friendly, hard working and his eye for precision and detail is amazing. We’re so proud of our garden now and it’s thanks to all of Dan’s hard effort and skills. I thoroughly recommend using Selwood Landscaping and will do so again in future! -
We waited 5 months for Dan to transform our back garden – the long wait was worth it, and the reason he is so busy is that he is so good! He worked really hard and laid a path, bark areas, grass and built sleeper beds and an arch – and then dug borders. Really professional service and sound advice on planting. Totally recommend Dan to anyone who is considering landscaping any area of their property. Would definitely have Dan back at any time.

We employed Dan to totally transform our garden. From the word go, we had complete trust in him. He is professional, reliable, polite, charismatic and extremely hard worker; he never stopped. As well as making sure we were happy every step of the way.

My mum recommended Selwood Landscaping to me after Dan provided her with a very handsome patio. I have since used Dan’s services to improve the garden of my new build house three times, to: lay a patio; plant a young tree; and construct a pergola over the patio. All of Dan’s work is professional, well-planned and well-executed. Dan himself is friendly, considerate, generous and flexible. He has been very kind in attending to my requirements on a piece by piece basis as I work out what I want my new garden to look like. Dan has recently replaced the paving in our back garden, around 50 square metres in a geometric outline on two levels. He has also replaced our back fence. He works steadily and gets the job done with the minimum of fuss and to a very high standard. We would highly recommend his work and have now asked him to re-lay our lawn - the beautiful slate he laid was making it look really bad!
Update: we now have a beautiful, lush green lawn to go with our new paving - cannot say how very pleased we are with the end result. Thanks Dan! -

I used Daniel for some work in my garden recently as he had already been recommended to me.
The work to be carried out involved the removal of a large amount of bamboo, which had been growing for some 20 years, plus removal of fences and a tree and some sleepers.
He and his colleague Gary carried this work out over 3 days which included the use of a digger to remove the bamboo roots which were on two sides of our fence.
Daniel turned up all 3 days as arranged and Gary, who operated the digger, was there on day 2 only. They were both professional, on time and carried out their work with humour. They cleared up well and removed all the bamboo (approx. 15ft high) and associated debris, together with being able to impart advice when required and the costs were as agreed in our quote.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Daniel to others who want work done in their garden.

Dan provided an excellent service for clearing and levelling a dishevelled garden. He installed a beautiful patio, a base for a garden building, which impressed the installers and sleepers for raised beds. My budget did not allow for further works.
He was very particular about detail and all the work was carried out to a high standard. Dan managed all the deliveries and clearance to a site with very limited access and charmed my neighbours by explaining what was happening and gaining their consent for access. I was not expecting such a high level of professionalism which took the stress out of the build for me.
From the outset he explained time scales and kept me informed and involved. He was always on time and his work rate was impressive. We agreed a payment schedule in advance and this was adhered to. It was a pleasure to employ such a friendly and professional landscaper with a depth of knowledge and fund of ideas. It is no wonder his order book is so full.

Selwood Landscapes have undertaken a number of personal and business projects commissioned by myself and I have nothing but commendations for his professionalism, integrity and standard of work.
Daniel has completed two full-scale garden renovations for me, including laying an Astroturf, patio and a full re-landscaping. He has also undertaken a number of gardening projects for me at two of my Primary schools in Wokingham – all of which have been completed to an extremely high standard.
Daniel himself is very friendly and personable, he listens to the customer’s specification and works within set budgets and expectations. He has never missed an arranged meeting or promised deadline. Any additional contractor Dan has used have also been of a very high standard.
I have been extremely pleased with the outcome of all of the jobs Daniel has done for me and do regularly highly recommend him to others.
