We asked Jim to install drainage under our rather wet, clay-based lawn, lay a path and fix bed edging betwixt lawn and flower beds. His team completed the bulk of the work (digging out and laying drains, returfing and path laying) inside a week, with no mud or mess. The remainder of the edging and path work was complete inside two days the following week. All requests for modifications during the job were cheerfully undertaken and completed. The levelling and returfing were to such a standard that there is no indication of the extensive drainage work having been done. The edging and paving work was excellent, and has made a major improvement to the appearance and accessibility of our back garden. I would thoroughly recommend Jim and his team, and would employ them again for any further work of this kind.

Jimmy Cartmell has been helping build and maintain our garden in Twyford since 2018. He initially came and did a full planting plan for our newly landscaped back garden which he planted and has maintained ever since. We now have a truly lovely, low maintenance back garden (a key request of mine!).
As well as his regular maintenance visits, Jim has installed trellis, re-sanded our driveway and installed a full irrigation system which is an absolutely godsend (especially last summer!).
His standard of work is excellent and he is always polite and courteous. Clearly the weather and other circumstances dictate whether he is always able to attend on the agreed date so we try and be as flexible as possible to fit in with his schedule as our garden wouldn’t want to miss his regular visits!

Jim originally did all of the planting for our garden when we moved into our new house. I'm not a keen gardener - I enjoy relaxing in the garden but not the work necessary to keep it looking nice. Jim now visits us 3 times per year to sort out the borders, make improvements and carry out the essential work necessary to keep the garden looking splendid.
Jim also sorted out my son's garden after a large building project and did a great job. Highly recommended!
