Jim & Son Painted our ceiling above the stairs. They arrived as arranged were friendly helpful and informative. The jobs was completed quickly and the work area was left clean and tidy. We used Jim and his sons (for the first time) to paint our new kitchen. It required some serious filling and we were looking for a great finish. I have to say they were brilliant. They arrived early each day (never late) and worked endlessly to complete the works as we were on a tight timeline. The finish was excellent and we will have them back to re-decorate the whole house. These guys are really clean, left the property in perfect condition. We couldn't be happier - these are the guys to go to for any works you require and what a lovely bunch of guys as well. Jim and his son Oliver did an excellent job painting the exterior walls of our 1940’s semi-detached house. Not an easy job by any means but they persevered and in very hot temperatures too. A very friendly team and I highly recommend them for any painting and decorating work.

This was resolved well and cracks were filled efficiently and the painting was sharp and defined. They cleaned up well and we are delighted with his work. Jim completed wallpapering in two different rooms and was extremely professional throughout. He turned up on time, provided a competitive quote and arranged to come back to complete the work within days. Jim has just redecorated the inside of our home and has done a fantastic job. He stripped back gloss paint on the woodwork and protected the original Victorian windows (and also made them look incredible!). The work he has done is to the highest standard and I could not recommend him more highly (we're looking to get him back to do the outside of the house when the weather has improved).

Having recently had exterior painting completed at our 1910 property, I can thoroughly recommend this business. The painting team were reliable and efficient, delayed only by wet weather. Some repairs to wooden windows were necessary and these were very well done. A good quality finish was achieved and a fair price charged.

We could not be happier with the fantastic work Jim and his sons did paining our playroom, bathroom and lounge. It also included paining new built in storage, stud wall and radiators that needed a lot of prepping. All the colours were very dark with white skirting and coving but their attention to detail was amazing making all the lines sharp with a beautiful finish. They are extremely professional and knowledgeable helping to advise us on paint types etc. This is the 2nd time we have used them and we already have future plans to get them back for our next project! This latest job was no exception, with him taking on a complete repaint of our hall, stairs and landing together with wallpapering our stairway. I moved from Warwickshire to Maidenhead to a cottage in Cox Green dating from the 1840s and needed some decorating work to our quirky bathroom. Jim Cunningham was just great to have in the house and his attention to detail was second to none using exactly the right paints for the work plus he is so tidy - employing dustsheets, hoovering, and clearing up regularly. A very fine decorating job and at a fair price.

Jim Cunningham (JC) and his friendly team recently painted the outside of our property including our gates, gutters and outside lights to a very high standard. Jim and his brother in law John have just finished decorating our hall, stairs and landing. He was highly recommended by friends and I can see why. The standard of work is fabulous (and I am very fussy). The prep was done properly and the finish is excellent. They cleaned up every night so well, and it was a pleasure to have them in our home. Jim and brother in law John have just finished all the exterior paintwork on our large Victorian house for the third time. I know this work will last for at least eight and possibly ten years, because this is third time Jim did it in 2002 and again in 2012. It's all in the preparation, and they prepare all surfaces really thoroughly, undertaking any minor repairs as they go, before painting. Last time it was Jim and his son Ollie and they did a brilliant job then, just as now. I can't recommend them highly enough, and they're really nice people too which is always a bonus.

Jim Cunningham worked outside at the house during the Corona-19 virus pandemic as soon as he was permitted to do so and he worked in two of the hottest weeks in early June. He is a reliable and thoroughly recommended painter and decorator. His very reasonably priced quality work was executed with care, helpfulness and consideration.

We have an old house and what we like about Jim is his attention to detail. Just wanted to say that Jim has just finished another 2 weeks in our house and transformed the hall for us. It was a big job as 3 floors but it looks amazing. We have had wall paper at ground to 1 st floor level which meant it was hard work for Jim off ladders etc but the results are superb.
