Chris Barber painted our son's two-bedroom flat and did a superb job. He started work at 8am on the day we had planned and was a delight to be around. Chris is ultra professional in his approach to his work but does everything cheerfully and has a great sense of humour. Our son worked several late shifts during Chris's time in the flat and Chris accommodated these odd waking and working hours with ease and thoughtfulness. Chris's quote for the work was very competitive.

Chris painted the outside render on our bungalow. We are delighted with the result and would not hesitate to use him again. He was extremely fastidious and keen to complete an excellent job. Always cleared away after each day and always started his day at,or before 08.00, working constantly until late afternoon. He was very keen to make sure we were happy with his work and kept to his quoted price. Well done Chris. We wish you well for the future.

Chris gave a competitive quote for our hall and stairs and he was clearly someone who knew about decorating. Among several quotes we chose Chris and we are glad we did. When he did the job he finished within the time estimated. He is the tidiest decorator I have ever used and has a high attention to detail. He is also flexible if you want to make any changes. We have already asked him to quote for another job. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Chris has painted the outside of all our windows. We have an old house and many of the windows which are leaded needed filler and were not straightforward. He has done a very good job and we are very pleased with the result. Chris is also easy to have around. He is considerate, always on time and tidy.

I contacted Chris to give me a quote for decorating hall,stairs landing and a small bedroom after reading the reviews in The Directory. So glad I did! He came back with a realistic price and start date and kept in touch throughout. Chris's finishing and workmanship is first class and he's so tidy. Arrived at 8am every morning and sometimes worked later than a full day. He even did some extra little bits of painting in other rooms for me. I will definitely be recommending Chris to all my friends and have him back for any other decorating. A true professional and a really nice guy

We were very lucky in finding Chris and from the first meeting we could tell he knew what he was doing. Chris understood our requirements for decorating the whole of the 3 bedroom house and the level of finished required. His work including all walls, skirtings, ceilings and doors. We handed Chris a key to the house and left him to it, he was on time every day and was very trustworthy. Kept his number for the next Job.

I can wholeheartedly support all the previous reviews about Chris' work. He decorated my Mum's entire flat in a week. He was always on time, responded to messages and emails promptly and simply got on with the work and wasn't constantly on the phone like other contractors I've employed previously. The work is top notch and Chris is definitely a reliable professional. I have no problems recommending his work.

Chris is easily the neatest and tidiest decorator I have ever met. The job was done with care and attention, the cutting in and finishing was fantastic. Always arrived at the time he said he would and unlike other decorators we have used he was not on the phone every ten minutes dealing with other jobs, sub contractors, gassing with his mates....he worked continually throughout the day and wouldn't even stop for tea or coffee! We cannot recommend Chris enough. Lovely attention to detail. Thank you. We will be using Chris again.
