I cannot praise Alan enough: he has worked as an architect for us, producing the drawings for our single storey side return extension we’re planning for our Edwardian terrace house.
Alan initially visited the property to make an assessment and spent sometime with us going through ideas and the planning application process as my husband and I are complete newbies to this kind of project.
When we were ready to go ahead, draft drawings were initially produced in a timely manner for our review. Alan was incredibly helpful and brilliant throughout, allowing us to ask all sorts of questions and try a few alternative ideas. Final drawings were only issued once we were happy with everything that had been covered. On the whole any changes or amendments that we requested were usually back in my email inbox within 48hrs.
Alan has only asked us for his fees once each stage has been completed to our satisfaction and so far he has managed pretty much every part of the process including all building control applications. He has made the entire process extremely enjoyable and stress free so far.
