Kevin Wylde's business has been going for over 20 years. He undertakes the smaller jobs that the bigger boys avoid like fixing taps, radiators, cisterns and ball valves. He carries out all central-heating maintenance, including bleeding or flushing your system (using magnet filters to clean heating systems instead of power-flushing, which is cheaper to do and less harmful to old systems). An impressively fast and technically correct repair - I've done the same repair in the past but it took me at least four times as long and was nowhere near as tidy.

Kevin replaced a leaky kitchen tap and awkwardly positioned leaky toilet cistern. I was very impressed with his prompt and friendly service and will definitely be using his services again.

A relatively small issue to fix - our outside tap was leaking - but Kevin was able to come round promptly, with replacement tap at the ready. Very happy with prompt and speedy service, and he was happy to discuss and explain options.

Kevin did a brilliant job replacing a DIY garden tap with proper pipework and spotting another issue while he was there and sorting that out too. It all looks very neat now and each bit can be shut off individually. Would definitely use again.

Kevin has carried out a number of plumbing jobs for us over the last year (fixing dripping taps, running overflow, broken toilet flush etc.) since we discovered him in the Little Green Book. He is very reliable, always arriving when arranged (and phoning ahead to confirm time), fixing the issues, offering useful advice and clear explanations. We were not sure which business to use when we had a radiator problem. We selected Kevin as he did the 'smaller jobs' and we were lucky we did. We used Kevin twice and both times he arrived when said, great service throughout even though we had a further problem when draining the radiator system. I found his details in the Directory Reading 2017. He was punctual and efficient. He explained what was necessary and sourced appropriate parts for the jobs. His charges were as expected and reasonable. I have no hesitation in recommending him and will use his services myself in future.

Kevin was brilliant. He came out the same afternoon and not only did the small job that I booked him for, but fixed a power shower that had not been working well for some time. He knows what he is talking about and I can understand him, unlike a few other people we have tried.

Had Kevin from Micro Plumbing services sort out a mysterious drop in the cold water flow into our bath. It seemed to be an air lock, which after much work and attempts by Kevin, could not be traced or sorted out. His perseverance paid off and he found the problem in a flexible pipe hidden behind the bath. A recent fitting of a central heating boiler involved the siting of a new flue through the roof and the engineer had twisted and trapped the pipe. Excellent service and polite manner.

Contacted this business to repair leaking tap, arrived without the parts to carry out repair, arranged to come back with the parts and despite being phoned up, no response to calls.

Kevin came to us at very short notice to deal with an emergency. He was able to effect a temporary repair and has since returned, as promised, to complete the repair and replace a faulty radiator. We cannot speak too highly of the speed of Kevin`s initial response and his all round professional approach, which compares very favourably with previous tradespeople we have employed.
