I'm glad to have used The Little Green Book to put me in touch with Michael at A7 Plumbing - he's been a real find. I agree with the other reviews which encouraged me to contact him - he's friendly and professional, charged a fair price and talked me through options available and associated costs in advance of carrying out the work. I'm completely satisfied with the high standards and the time taken to fix various issues - ranging from fixing a leak between tiles and bath, through fixing the leaking sink and replacing the plug and trap in the bathroom sink, replacing the central heating timer unit so the heating can be turned off and the main problem - diagnosing and solving the seeming lack of hot water to my shower. He's been brilliant and I cant recommend him enough. Work completed April 2022.

Michael recently installed a full central heating system in my Aunts home replacing her existing hot water boiler and storage heaters. My Aunt is an elderly lady who whilst being quite independent needs the assurance that she is dealing with a trustworthy tradesman. Michael is exactly that. He was very prompt in providing a very competitive and detailed quote, plus went to great lengths to explain what the installation entailed. During the installation he was a very tidy worker, kept my Aunt and I fully informed of his progress and completed the work in a timely manner to a high standard. We would fully recommend Michael.

Mike is one of the good guys in the Plumbing world. He did the work to a very high standard, communicated with me very well about what he was doing and why. The quote was what I expected for a new boiler and the added touches like a 7 year warranty and happy to advise on other things sets him apart. Fantastic response, Michael was nearby and managed to get to our house within 2 minutes to fix a split bathroom tap joint which was leaking through the ceiling below. It was quickly fixed with no mess, a great service.

Just had Michael round to sort out an insistent leaky tap. He's prompt, courteous, efficient and friendly. Kept in contact on the day so I knew when to expect him, told me exactly what he was doing and charged a reasonable price. He's cat and dog friendly, trustworthy, cleans up and does a great job too. I've needed to find a decent plumber for a couple of years now and will definitely hang on to him now I've found him and am very happy to recommend him.

Michael came to my home on a Sunday Emergency call-out. It was a lovely hot day, the first this year when I know he had hoped to have a family afternoon. He nevertheless repaired a very insistent leak and kept his good humour throughout, saving my downstairs flooring with his prompt action. He has a friendly nature and we easily found common topics of interest to chat about even though the age gap between us is considerable. He also took care to ensure he was not overcharging me, and that was very kind. Oh importantly, the job was well done.

He did a number of plumbing jobs for me and was honest enough to tell me I didn't need new taps for the repair, even though he had bought some with him. A7 carried out a complete bathroom refit for us and to our delight it was completed on time to the required standard and at the agreed price. I would like to mention that the service was customer focused and would use him again. I was particularly impressed by the free technical advice he had given me prior to advising him of any work doing.

I called out Michael to fix a dripping tap. Due to complications with the tap and the sink, we ended up replacing the whole sink. Michael appeared on time and acted in a friendly and professional manner. Throughout the installation, Michael was extremely helpful in getting the extra parts and explaining what he was doing and why as he went along. I am very happy with the new sink, the price charged was very fair, so I will definitely be contacting Michael again for any future plumbing work.
