Royal Oak, Bovingdon Green SL7 2JF
Buckinghamshire Dining Pub of the Year 2019 (Good Pub Guide), the sixth time they have received this award; lots of other accolades too. Also a great favourite with the publishers and friends. It is less than a mile up the hill out of Marlow (signposted Frieth off the Henley road). Imaginative menu, relaxed atmosphere and a superb young team at work here. Check the website first to see the latest seasonal menu and wine list. One of the best dining pubs in the Thames Valley. They have an interesting feature in the form of a beautiful teepee for private events of up to 40 people http://www.royaloakmarlow.co.uk/our-teepee.

The first visit. A perfect venue for a special Sunday lunch with the family. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The menu was good with choices for everyone. The food was a very high standard and well presented. Definitely we will return.
Had a great meal here with friends over the weekend. Lovely location, great atmosphere, interesting well cooked dishes. The service was just right - attentive but not overpowering.
Enjoyable Friday evening with family of 5. Great food - teenage children loved the steak. Hake was very good and the courgette fritters were amazing. Efficient & friendly staff - we were looked after very well. Booked to go again when friends visit from Yorkshire.
